Ice Fishing the Flash Freeze, Philadelphia
What do you think this Ice Fishing the Flash Freeze, Philadelphia video?
Air temperatures plummeted for 3 days of below freezing weather, highs in the 20’s and lows around 10 degrees made some ice in a hurry, fished on some borderline safe ice at scotts run lake hoping to find some Brown Trout but instead caught some perch.. the hot jig was a pink pimple tipped with waxowrms… today the highs are forecasted to be in the mid 60’s in philadelphia so whatever ice we had locally will become very questionable..
DISCLAIMER: Always be safe out on the ice, it is not recommended to fish on less than 3" of ice, 4" is considered plenty safe with 3"-4" usually being OK as long as its fresh black ice, 2"-3" can be done if you are cautious and confident but always use extreme caution!
