Made a trip to upstate NY with Elias ( www.youtube.com/user/eliasvaisberg87)

Lake trout was the target species, fishing a lake I had never heard of and had no idea what the lake was like, we winged it and found pretty tough fishing with 12″+ of ice, ended up icing 2 fish on day 1 and missing/losing a couple. Spoons tipped with meat in 35-50′ of water got a couple bites and the biggest fish came on a deadsticked minnow.
